STANDING BY THE BLACK REVOLUTIONARY MILITANT MUMIA ABU JAMALI compagni e le compagne del Centro di Documentazione "Krupskaja" di Bologna Since some months in Italy a campaign has started against the execution of Mumia Abu-Jamal. Alredy in occasion of the preparation of the campaign for the 10th anniversary of the killing of the revolutionary militant Pietro Greco 'Pedro', murdered in Trieste the 9th of march 1985 by the political police, continuing a proposal made by some female political prisoners of the prison of Latina, the mobilization for Mumia Abu-Jamal has started. Then a national coordination has been built with the aim of developping an information and mobilization campaign all over the national territory. Base commettees and information structures of Neaples, Rome, Bologna and Milano have started a widespread work that has brought to the organization of initiatives in many italian cities. Thousands of signatures and the support of tenth of structures and organisations of the radical and istitutional left has been gathered. In Genova, Torino, Milano, Bologna, Padova, Bassano, Cesena, Firenze, Roma, Perugia, Napoli, Foggia, Catania a lot of comrades have expressed the determination to fight against the execution of the Black revolutionary militant Mumia abu-Jamal. A national demonstration for the 24th of june in Rome had been scheduled and now that the date has been fixed in which the american imperialism wants to get definitively rid of the uneasy presence of Mumia Abu-Jamal, it becomes an even higher political meaning. Our willingness to fight beside the revolutionaries all over the world will not leave for an instant our brother, our comrades Mumia Abu-Jamal alone in his fight against injustice, for the revolution.
